American Pest Control is a locally owned, family-run business. Our owners and employees live and are active in the communities that we serve. As a business, we try to be as involved in the community as possible, whether that be by volunteering, donating, sponsoring or just showing up! Our most recent initiative was to become Partners in Education with elementary schools in our service area. We delivered umbrellas to over 200 schools! Many of our employees have ties to these schools because their children or other family members attend there.

American Pest Control volunteers at middle and high schools as well in various ways. Several of our employees have children involved in sports at local schools and APC supports those teams. One of our managers, Don Parr, also volunteers his time giving entomology presentations at local schools.

American Pest Control is active in 21 chamber of commerce’s. Our customer service representatives attend chamber events and meetings, they are members of chamber boards and chairman’s of the board. This helps us stay up-to-date on the happenings in our service areas. Customer service representatives also use the chamber as a resource to learn about events and community service opportunities. We love to support local businesses and charities, so if you have an event coming up please let us know! Here are a few business and non-profit organization events we have attended this year!

Every year in November American Pest Control participates in the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s Hunger Bowl. It is a canned food drive for residents of North Georgia. Last year, we collected 232 pounds of non-perishables and $164.58 in monetary donations. We would like to exceed that amount this year! The dead line is this Friday, November 13th. We are calling on our customers to help us reach our goal and make a huge impact in our communities! If you would like to make a donation there are several easy ways to participate. If you already have a service scheduled for this week, just give your cans to your technician and he will turn them in for you! If you have several people in your office that would like to donate, give us a call at (706) 702-4532 before Friday and ask for Marissa. She will coordinate someone to come by your office and pick up the donations. Lastly, you can drop your donations off at our office located at 3145 Atlanta Hwy. in Athens between Panera Bread and Target. We look forward to seeing what a difference we can make with your help!

Our certified pest experts will work with you to find the best solution for your needs. Simply fill out this form for a free, no-obligation estimate.
