These pests can chew through wood, drywall, and even soft metals, and their handiwork can compromise the structural integrity of your home. Beyond property damage, rodents are known carriers of numerous diseases. They can contaminate food and surfaces with their urine, droppings, and fur, leading to food-borne illnesses. Their constant gnawing can also result in damage to furniture, clothing, and valuable personal items.

While many spiders are harmless and even beneficial in controlling other pests, certain species are dangerous and can cause other headaches. Some can bite when threatened, causing discomfort, allergic reactions, or, in the case of venomous species like the black widow or brown recluse, more severe symptoms.
